ive seen some home theaters where they get there home theater name example(wilson familys home theater) on there screen before a movie on when they turn on the projector
how do they do this?
is is kind of like a screen saver?

Some projectors let you display a "turn on" image from a USB flash drive. I think the Sony Cineza HS10 and HS20 did it from Sony Memory Stick.

Some projectors also let you do a "screen capture" of whatever you are projecting to use in the same way.

Some users have HTPC software setup to display screens, or shorts, between the movies they are watching.

Some users (like me) can't be bothered with all that customising crap, and just want to watch the source material.
