Does anyone know where I can find a white power cord for my projector?
It takes a standard PC type power cord.
Places like monoprice seem to only have black.
Why can't you just spray paint it?
Why can't you just spray paint it?
I don't think spray paint adheres that well to rubber with the flexibility required by a cord?
If I can buy one for a couple dollars, that would be the most reasonable solution.
If not, I suppose I can try that.
Try either Office Depot, Staples or Home Depot as they may have what you need.
As a side note, I was looking for a shorter power cable for my projector and a fellow AVS'r pm'd me and sent me one a no charge. What a great forum, huh?

i guess the question would be "why do you need a white one?"... if it has to be "flexed" so much???? how about using white tape???
Is the cord really going to be moving around that much to where it'll crack the paint?

I just googled (white power cord) and found hundreds.
Below is one for a couple bucks….

the local office depot/best buy/staples didn't have white ones, but Radio Shack did.
Thanks!

White power cords are easy to find. Long, white component cables are not. I ended up wraping the cable with white hockey tape.

For white component cables, try SF Cable (http://www.sfcable.com/cable/c/rca.html). I've used them for the specialty component to HDTV VGA cables.

You could also sleeve a regular black cable with some expandable sleeving from Parts Express (http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=082-338) and use some white heat shrink at the ends.
