I own an older lcd, the Sharp A10x, with way under 2000hrs on it. The bulb life is estimated at 4500hrs, so it will be awhile until I even hit the halfway point.
My problem is this, and it only happens when I game on the pj. Every now and then the screen just blacks out for a second and I don't really understand why. It doesn't ever happen when I watch a movie, but it will during games. COD:WOW, RE5, and just about every other I've played will make the pj "blink" for a second. Anyone else have a similar problem or is it only on my particular pj?
Connections are component into the pioneer receiver, and a monoprice component out to vga to the pj. Default settings on the pj are reading either 1080i or 720p- but obviously is displaying at 576p on my xga projector. The madcatz multi-component cable hooks up either the 360 or the PS3 to the receiver.
