My parents need a TV around 46" (50" will not fit well in their limited space). This is not a large room, but my father is dead-set on at least 46", so they need a 1080P.
I own a Panasonic 50" 720P Plasma that I absolutely love. My thought was to go the same route for them, but 1080P for the reason above. I'm thinking that Plasma will be better for them as well, as they watch movies/TV/sports and won't do anything else with it. However, I saw a good price on a Sony LCD, so I figured I'd throw that one into the list of possibilities as well.
Here are the three options:
Plasma
Panasonic TH46PZ85U (only $100 more than PZ80U)
Panasonic TH46PZ80U
LCD
Sony KDL46S4100
What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for any help.
