I was just watching a Blu-ray movie on my X10 projector and I decided to change the settings to 24 Hz as opposed to 60 Hz. Truthfully I don't see any difference. Is there supposed to be one?

I know that 24 Hz is supposed to make the film look more "film-like" but even at 60 Hz it already looked "film-like." What am I supposed to be seeing?

Thanks.

It is suppose to make pans and fast motion smoother. This only works if you projector accepts and outputs 24 fps and your BR player outputs 24fps. Also, the BR your watching has to be encoded at 1080p24. Most BR movies are but some are not.

Thanks. I saw that the frequency rate of the projector was 24 Hz. My player is a PS3. Projectorreview.com says "Support for 24fps (no 3:2 pulldown, eliminates judder) and Deep Color" which sounds like I've got the right equipment.

As a side note, what does 3:2 pulldown mean?

Well some people see judder and some don't. I really don't notice it. Try watching scenes with fast panning. You may notice the difference more.
