Trying to get a 30 to 35 foot hdmi cable and was just about to get one until I read this.

Question: Will HDMI 1.3a cables work with my non-1.3 devices? Will non-1.3 cables work with my 1.3 devices?
Answer: Yes, all versions of HDMI are backward and forward compatible. They will all work but non-1.3 cables will not support extended bandwidth features of 1.3 devices like "Deep Color."

So does this mean the long cable at mono price will not support deep color?

if it doesn't say "high speed", it wont support deep color(which is a useless feature anyway). I was in the same situation couple of days back and I finally bought a 20ft 1.2a HDMI FLAT cable from monoprice.
