Hello, I am here representing a group of engineering/entrepreneurship students at Brown University developing a new product. To help us with our endeavors I have created a short ten question multiple-choice survey. It would be of great help to us to get some feedback! This isn't spam or a scam. Taking the survey might give an glimpse of what's to come in the future of home theater technology.

Thank you for your participation! The survey is here:

You my want to clarify what you're asking for. People use many different definitions of Home Theater. Your second question:

2. How many home theaters have you installed or had installed in your home(s) or other people's homes?

I haven't met anyone that's installed more than one home theater in their home. But, are you asking about surround systems and NOT home theaters? I have 3 surround systems in my home and have helped set up numerous sound systems in friends homes, but that's different than a home theater. What exactly are you looking for?

Same with question 4 (and others):

4. How often have you avoided installation of a home theater because of damage it could cause to a home?

I don't think anyone that plans on building a home theater has avoided it due to damage. Now, there might be people that have avoided putting in surround sound speakers due to damage (though I doubt that too), but that's a different question.

Looks like someone is trying to get involved in the Wireless speaker game.. You starting your own Wireless speaker company? If so, do you think you can make them sound as good as wired ones, without breaking the bank???

Try not to post too much about the survey, it can bias people's answers. We're trying to come up with a business plan with the most cost effective product possible with the most value to users.

Since half the survery has to deal with wireless speakers, why avoid the questions that are being asked? Just wondering that's all.. It seems like you are going towards that direction.. Need testers??? I'll help..:D
