Mounting my sony kdl-46xbr6 and because of placement I have to mount on 3 studs for it to be centered over my mantle. I am trying to decide between the below 3 mounts (or others if you have suggestions). What are your thoughts and recommendations?

Omnimount U3 Tilt with their extension to allow 3 stud mounting

Peerless ST670P

Sanus VMPL3B - I noticed with only tilts 12 degrees down - is this a concern? Most do 15, I just don't know how to measure in degrees.

Low profile is somewhat of a concern as when you first walk into the room the side of the TV is facing you.

My other questions is, what wires should I run through the wall? I figured 2 hdmi (will probably add a 3rd in case I add anything later), but what other wires do I need? I will be hooking up cable box, blue ray, and a stereo.

Thanks in advance for the replies

I've used the peerless stuff a bunch of times. Great stuff...well-made and relatively simple to install in most cases.

In terms of cable...run everything you can. You never know what you'll need down the line. Either that or leave conduit space or a pathway to run it later.

Thanks Frank. How is the tilt on the peerless? Relatively easy? That is the one thing I see negatively on their reviews - is that it really isn't "1 touch" tilt...
