Moved into an apartment with steam radiators. I didn't want to put my equipment here, but the strange dimensions of the room made this the best place (maybe the only place) to accommodate everything.

^ I'm most worried about the tv. The casing around the radiator directs the heat outward. The surface of the tv and stand are relatively cool to the touch, but the air in between is quite warm.

^ The heat is not directed towards the audio rack, but the close proximity still worries me a bit.

If it were me I would turn that register off if you can and try to direct heat from another room with ceiling fans or regular fans.:cool:
