I'd like to take my HDTV and put a DVR *inside* of it. Also want to replace the speakers with better ones...

I know a project like this is nuts and beyond the scope of this particular forum -- but does anyone know of places online (forums, blogs, etc) where I can take this for discussion?

I opened my Magnavox 32" HDTV and discovered there's alot of room inside, plenty to fit a mini-itx mobo and 2.5" harddrives. I'd build a new case for the whole thing if need-be -- but it looks do-able.

I've run external speakers on all my recent HDTVs. Usually the internal amp is pretty decent but the speakers are too small. I've found using smaller bookshelf type speakers greatly improves the sound with no side effects. I've never thought of adding a HDD. I don't have a clue to where to direct you though.
