i seem to be having a problem with starting my projector. every time i press the power button the top led goes from orange to a blinking green light then back to orange. the fan does not start up at all. originally someone told me it might be the bulb but i ruled out that possibility by purchasing a brand new sealed bulb. still having the same problem. i plan on taking this in to get repaired as i have had this projector for a while and doubt i have any factory warranty at all. i was just curious if someone might have some possible solutions before i ship out my projector. thanks for any help in advance.

The only suggestions I have would involve opening the projector's cabinet, if you are technically skilled. Try turning the fan's blades to see if they move freely, and if they do you could also try spinning the fan by hand after you turn the power on with the cover still off to see if it starts. Also, try pressing any possible loose connectors on circuit boards into their sockets tighter. Anything more involved probably requires circuit repairs and a service manual.

thanks for the advice sorry for the long delay between posts been very busy at work i'll give that a try and see where it gets me. i'll keep you posted.
