it amazed me how meticulous every item was presented in the box...the user manual is big and heavy...looks like an fancy encyclopedia!

Yeah no duh, nowadays they should put the whole manual onto a cheap thumb drive. Probably cheaper then wasting all that time, money and trees printing up the manual and I can't believe I am actually saying this but probably more GREEN. I am seeing some companies starting to do it this way.
