I have a PS3 connected to my Mitsu 73736 via HDMI. I would like to connect my wireless head-set to the TV's Audio Out (analog RCA). This way I would be able to swith to my head-set without having to change audio settings in my PS3.
When I did this setup, the TV sensed that there is an AVR connected to the Audio Out and enabled the Speaker/AVR audio option. However, switching to AVR has no impact! Sound still comes for Speaker and no sound goes to headset.
I did even try to connect the PS3 to TV via RCA and go in with Analog Audio to make sure its not a ditial to analog issue, same reslut.
