Right now I have Dish Net with a HD-DVR receiver to my main TV. I also want to run HDTV to the theater room. I would like the main TV and theater to share the DVR storage so you can access all programs from either room.
I have thought of a simple switch and switching the HDMI to one room or the other. But I think that as time goes on we will want to be watching both at the same time, different channels also. It would also need a IR relay to get the remote to work in a different room.
Just looking for ideas, I don't know what Dish would charge for another HD receiver/DVR, but I'll bet its not cheap.
