A friend gave me his old Davis DL450 but he didn't have the cable to connect the projector to the PC. I hooked it up to the Wii and the kids are currently having fun.

I've done about as much due diligence as I can (checked the archives here and elsewhere, called BetterCables, checked with MicroCenter, learned about the color wheel mod, etc.). As near as I can tell, I need a VGA to EVC connection, which I've been unable to locate either an adapter or a cable.

If anybody can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. If you have this cable, let me know - I'm also interested in locating a spare bulb, a remote and/or the technical manual, .

Thanks,

Todd

I could be wrong here, but I think the EVC is the same as the M1-DA port, of which there will be a lot of talk about on this forum, and a ton of relatively low priced connectors out there.

Thanks, Jim -

I found the user's manual by finding the (rebadged) Kodak DP850. I'll post a link once I'm at my regular computer in case somebody else ends up searching the archive.

This projector is turning into a kind-of "there's no such thing as a free kitten" exercise. But the kids are having fun. I may just leave it hooked up to the Wii and buy a new model to use for presentations.

Though, if anybody has a remote or parts for this, please PM me.

Thanks again.
