Just noticed when I change channels and the screen turns black for a second I notice the screen is brighter in the middle is this normal for DLPS? I took a picture below and the flash of my cellphone has no part of the look on the tv besides the little flash in the middle but if you look around it u can see how its lighter in the middle of the tv set.. any help? thanks guys

That is normally caused by the mirror inside reflecting light. Unless its a problem with viewing, it's normal.

Not really noticable unless you really looking for it when theres picture on the screen. Only when u change channels like that is it noticable. Was just curious about it.

Does the reflection happen at night and when there are no other lights that shine directly on the TV turned on?

WEll its kinda night time right now and i got my room light on and i can still see it..

What if you turn your room light off and just have light from another room?

Its too dark for that I think... And not sure if this matters but friend i got it from just replaced the bulb on it.

I turned the hallway light on and turnd my light off and still there..
