Hi Guys
I have a Ada Cinema Reference. This Pre-Amp has AC3 Switcher, AC3 RF Demulator.
To connect the Pioneer LD-S2 that does not have AC3 output, doesn't this Pre-Amp makes all the job? How can i connect it and what kinds of sounds can i have?
Here's the Pre-Amp Rear Picture:

And also, how can i connect 4 Laserdisc Players to this Pre-Amp. Are there any adapters?

Señor Cararte:
ANY LD player must have the AC-3 RF output which transports the signal out of the player to the AC-3 demodulating input. This path can NOT be circumvented in any way if you want to enjoy the AC-3 sound.
For the reason I explained each LD player must have an AC-3 RF output and each player must have an AC-3 demodulating input to be connected to. I had two LD players connected to the same A/V receiver. Both already AC-3 RF output equipped. The receiver had ONLY one AC-3 input. To get around that I assigned one digital audio input getting the AC-3 signal from an outboard AC-3 demodulator connected to the second LD player. ¿Do you get it Señor Cararte?
¡Mucha suerte!

Hi Electrico
Ok i understand. However if i want to connect 2 Laserdisc Players same time this Pre-Amp is ready for that. (check back on the picture).
But if the LD-S2 has no AC3 i'm not going to send it to anyone to modify, so how can i connect it to the Pre-Amp and what sounds will i take from this Player? Stereo; Dolby Pro Logic 3.1... Analog DTS....

the LD-S2 has no AC3, so how can i connect it to the Pre-Amp and what sounds will i take from this Player? Stereo; Dolby Pro Logic 3.1... Analog DTS.... connect analog inputs... composite video and use stereo L&R audio connetions... You'll get encoded tracks stereo, dolby pl and DTS if your LD-S2 has optical output on it....

Tank you so much :)
I just like to keep my equipment as original, no modifications.
Anyone has experience with Ada Cinema Reference connected to Laserdisc Players?
