I recently purchased a Samsung LN40B500 TV and am not sure which upconverting dvd player to purchase. I want to keep it under $100 if at all possible. Thanks

There is alot of them under $100. I have a Toshiba HD-A3 it will play HD DVDs, and SD DVDs wich makes it kinda neat if i want to rent or buy a few HD ones it will play it. I also have a Phillips DVP-5982 they both look about the same to my eye so far.

I dont have the remote for the Toshiba so i havnt messed with any of its functions yet just compare the upscale image quality for now.
