There's no such model available. The current Dish Network HDTV DVR models are the 622, 722, and the newest is the 722k.

The next model will be the 922, which is very similar to the 722k hardware, but it adds a larger hard drive, a new remote, an updated interface, and Slingbox functionality. There are unconfirmed reports of a 822 (pictured here (https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/prod/oet/forms/blobs/retrieve.cgi?attachment_id=1069863&native_or_pdf=pdf)), which would be a lower-end version of the 922. These models are expected in the June/July/August timeframe.

There's no possible way I accidentally got an 822 and they took it back? Because when I looked at it yesterday I made a mental note to look up the differences of my 822 and the older boxes. Then when I woke up today after they had already came I noticed they left a 622 in the bedroom and now my main set has a 722k. Being that I had had no prior knowledge of dish dvrs I just don't get how I would have had the 822 number in my mind and I also don't remember a k at the end. My girlfriend let the guy in the house and then left while he installed our bedroom dvr. I was sleeping at the time.

This is messed up. I should have wrote the number down instead of a mental note.

If there is a 822, it is months away from release. It is highly unlikely you got a beta unit from an installer. Echostar does not furnish installers with beta units. I linked a picture in my previous post.

The 722k you received is the latest model with the newest hardware. It was released about a month ago.

That's exactly what I remember except without the Sling logo. I just glanced at the box(which was installed earlier this week) because I've been too busy.

I just thought about something. My gf dvr'd a bunch of crap the first day we got it. I'm gonna check if the same stuff is on there.

*Okay I checked and all the recordings are still there. I really have no idea how I got the 822 number in my head but somebody plz delete this thread lol
