I already made this thread in the plasma and lcd forums but they suggested that I should come over here for a less one sided answer so anyway...Hi, I am looking to buy a new tv and have brought it down to the two that are posted in the title..the only thing is, i don't know which one is better because i don't know much about the difference between plasma and lcd other than plasmas have better motion control and darker blacks. The things i'm going to use the tv for is just pretty much a lot of gaming (call of duy: waw, rock band 2, fallout 3, etc.) and some blu-ray movie watching. so i want your opinion on which is better and why.

TV's

There's presently a thread already started about the some models in the 50" range and everything that pertains to them should pertain to the 40" models.

I noticed this new Samsung LN40B550 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV has an update look and lighter weight, the dynamic contras ratio is also increase to 70,000:1 up from 30,000:1. if you have a limited budget , this HDTV can be one of your choice, I highly recommend it
