Good Day everyone, I just finished giving my Optical Engine a good cleaning and when I re-installed everything my convergence is off!!!!!!

I was wondering if there are any "convergence" adjustments in the service menu.

I was so happy because i was finding so much dirt and films on the optical parts, and now am very upset due to the convergence problem, needless to say I have gone from Hero To Zero in my house!!!!

Can anyone help me re-attain my Hero status and give me some guidance.

Are you saying you disassembled the internals of the light enginge? Or just cleaned the lens? Taking apart a light engine is a big no no. Service manuals don't even have instructions on disassembly, for good reason. Repair techs are even scared of it :) I'm sorry to say you are probably SOL, the service menu is so huge and cryptic on Sony's that I would not even begin to know where to start on this without some insight from the factory.

Thanks for the reply, I think I have come to that determination, when I started this project I said I was getting a better picture, one way or another:D.

Yes I did take it right down to the prism, trying to re-align the LCD's manually now, very tedious, but having some progress.
