Whatever you are enjoying, I'd be interested in reading about. Good sound also wouldn't hurt by the way. Thanks!
I just got the Decca Swan Lake and will listen to it shortly. I have nothing for this classical work for multichannel listening, including SACD or DVD-A. and I don't think there really is anything noteworthy on those formats to begin with. Reviews I've read on this BD were good so I gave it a shot.

Out of thousands of classical SACDs, there are many, many that are excellent performances and recordings.

I believe the original poster was saying that he hasn't found any "noteworthy" recordings of (specifically) Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" on SACD or DVD-A (not putting down SACD, DVD-A classical recordings in general). A sa-cd.net search turns up only one complete "Swan Lake", by the Russian State Symphony Orchestra on Naxos, which gets middling reviews, supporting the OP's opinion. In my opinion, the few Naxos SACDs that I've heard don't have as good sound quality as the best labels, such as Pentatone, BIS, Telarc.
A thread on Opera, Ballet and Classical Music (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1125835) has been started in the Blu-ray Software forum, continuing an earlier thread in another forum. To date, mostly opera has been discussed in this thread, probably because most Blu-ray classical discs so far have been opera.
Another good "lead" is the 2L label (http://www.2l.no/2L.htm) from Norway, which is starting to offer classical recordings on music-only Blu-ray. They list four releases so far, all containing a hybrid SACD + a music Blu-ray in a two-disc box. I haven't heard any of these, but I have a 2L SACD of Haydn, Solberg, and Grieg string quartets, which is absolutely superb, both performance and recording.
