Hello,

Is there a step by step for this on my TH-50PZ85U?

I am new to this and want proper break in.

I would like to do it via the SD Card slot on the TV.

I found the site to get the download of the colors, but am unsure of how to do it properly.

I searched but did not find a step by step.

Any help would be great.

The TV is coming today. I am buying the BD-P1600 today also.

Can I watch DVDs inbetween the break in time?

Thank you

I have a pz85u. Put the SD card in, browse to it through the menu. Set it to run as a slideshow. Set the interval to 1 second (mirrors the dvd break in). Thats all you gotta do!

Once you download the zip file of the break-in images, unzip them (you'll end up with about a few dozen different color jpg files), then just copy them onto an SD card, stick the card in the TV's SD slot, and press the SD card key on the remote and run a slide-show.

I have a bunch of 1920x1080 Hi Def Wallpaper images on an SD card that i sometimes like to play as a sort of screensaver when i'm not actually watching the TV.

Cant I just leave it go, and it will just keep going?

Should I check on it once in a while, or not worry about it?

Should I let it rest for a while and start it up again?

Just want to do it right.

Thanks guys

Its running now, so what shold be done? The TV should be in VIVID mode with the Contrast (aka: Picture) setting all the way up when looping the colors via SD card or the Break-In DVD. Here's the procedure for the newer model, but it pertains to yours as well:

What should the time per picture be?
I have it set at 3 seconds.

What about watching movies inbetween break in cycles?

I have it set at 3 seconds.I would use the 30 second interval because i seem to remember that's the interval on the Break-In DVD. Three seconds just seems way too short.

What about watching movies inbetween break in cycles?I'm sure it would be fine - just set up the DVD input on some other mode besides VIVID - use CINEMA or CUSTOM for watching the DVD, then when you run the SD Card Slideshow put the TV back into VIVID mode.
