I've had a HTiB setup for about 6 years now, I upgraded my sub about 4 years ago to a SVS PB10 and it made a huge difference. We're now about to move into a new house that has a large elongated living room that is open to the kitchen/dining room. I know this acoustically sucks but for now it's what I have until I convert the garage. My question is, can I pair the SCS fronts with my HTiB rears for now until I can afford the rears?

The brick has been removed and sheet rock put up in its place. The kitchen is to the right with only a small pillar separating the rooms.
