Hello,
I have a 10 or so year old Hitach Ultravision 53" (53SWX01W) that I just replaced after it started acting up by blanking out during fast forwarding on my HD Tivo Box and also having the screen get garbled during random commercials. I would like to retire it to XBox 360 duty, but it won't display the HD signal from the XBox. I get just a blank screen that occasionally will flash, but then go back to blank. We tried hooking up a Wii over component and got nothing but a garbled screen as well. Anybody have any ideas on what the problem could be and how much it might cost (ballpark) to get fixed? The tv is working fine with a DirectTv receiver sending a signal over S-Video. I've tried all the searches I could think of and came up empty.
