I have TWC with the SA8300HDC. I am using a Harmony 880 as the remote and my cable box is hooked up via component cables to my Sony A/V Receiver then to the TV via component cables. The volume out of the cable box is not very loud. I have to have the receiever up around 45 to hear the TV. The DVD is loud at 30.
My question is, how can I get the sound up higher so i don't blow out my eardrums everytime I switch from TV to DVD or to the radio. I changed the audio settings on the 8300 to varaible and turned the volume up all the way but it is the same. I have it as variable now.
My TV does not have an HDMI so that is out and the receiver does not have the red, green and blue inputs (forgot what they are called) so I am limited to only the component cables.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
