Hello, I am having a VERY frustrating problem with my Motorola DVR from Time Warner (don't have the model # handy here at work). I will watch a recorded show from a series recording only to find that it, for some gawdawful reason, recorded from the standard definition channel, rather than the HD channel it was set for.

This happens about a third of the time I record an HD show, and I am puzzled. Why would it ever change the channel from the one I program? I set it for, say, 705 (the HD NBC channel) and it records that way for a few times and then, out of the blue, it records one of the shows on 05, the SD version. And I check the series recording and now it is changed and set to record the series on that SD channel!

Can anyone explain why this happens and how to stop it?
