We have a Scientific Atlanta 8300hd and we are having a problem with the picture. No matter what we set it on, the picture remains the same. It appears to be in a zoom mode. When watching a race or anything that has information at the top and bottom, it is cut off of our screen. Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. The cable company tells us its not our cablebox, but our NEC xr6a. So any info would be greatly appreciated.......HELP!!!

The # or * button at the bottom of the remote should change the aspect / zoom mode.
