Before your minds descend into the gutter, I'm talking about screens here :p I am nearing completion on my den/theater and was chatting with my girlfriend, who lives with me, about what size screen to order. During the entire construction process (well over a year), she was worried about the theater items (speakers, projector, screen, etc ...) dominating the room. While movie/tv watching is the room's primary purpose, it is not a dedicated space, so she has been chief design consultant.

Anyway, we were chatting and she says to me "after all the hard work you've put into the room, I think you should order the largest screen that will fit" :D I almost dropped to one knee and asked her to marry me right then ... but then I came to my senses and ordered a 118" Carada screen. I am a lucky man!

My girlfriend not only allows me to do what I want with my theater, she is designing my screen and my riser. I am ashamed to say she has far better carpentry skills than I. She has been very supportive about the entire obsession :D

SD: I'd say if she can also fix your car you've got a keeper.

TBAIN, do you have any pictures of the space? Sounds like you are getting close to finishing. But then we all know what happens once you have a screen and a projector.

BigMouth,

I have been taking some pictures along the way. Once I'm completely done, I was going to post the finished pics in a small retrospective build thread. Productivity has definitely taken a hit since the projector went up. I'm not sure I feel better or worse watching the Caps drop the first 2 games against the Rangers on a ginormous screen
