Hi there i thought id show how far i have got on my build of C-Macc's 2.

C-Macc's 2 is basicly a redesign of my first system C-Macc's which was posted about all over the net and can be found on google.

The concept of C-Macc's 2 is that it has the ability to play every thing. when i mean every thing i really do mean that as in gaming. Not only is it a full arcade system it has a full integrated touch screen system and blueray player and jukebox and so much more.

Ill be integrating several consoles that cannot be emulated or have not been emulated very well at the moment and a fully water-cooled PC that will have all the emulators for systems that are fully emulated and all so full pc games and AVS systems installed onto it.

The design have been made from the ground up.

Here are a few pics of how far i have got.

Pre rendering before i began

That looks great and I have been thinking about a 4 player MAME project this summer and this may be the kick in the butt that I need.

This is a very fast dirty test to check out lighting on the alien designs. Just to see what it would look like. I can see the 3mm led's really are not enough to light up a full panel so ill have to try out some 5mm led's next to see what effect they will have.

The 3mm btw have been drilled into the plastic but like all things that come from Hong Kong only 1/2 of them work lol ....

These are quite close up so it looks a little wobbly but then again i haven't cleaned it up yet neither. ........

15 min later lol -------

Oky first alien finished on the CP ...

Need to do more work but you'll get the jist of what im up to ... The alien is approx 2" in hight and 3.5" in length so as you can see its really quite small but i think there is a lot of detail in it for such a small picture. Took about 1/2 to create

@Villi your about the 3rd person to ask. My answer "dont ask" hehe

This is called rushing to meet demands !!!!!!!

No back box fitted just yet nothing i can do to get that ready in time ...

32" Samsung TV fitted 1/2 complete assembly ...

Blew Up PC while rushing around and dropped screw driver on a live mother board haha. Not a problem though stolen one of the kids for the moment.

Cables from TV to System hidden for now with twist ties later on this will be done with plastic square tubing.

I've still not finished the back box due to money limitations and having to get new hardware. I will do that later on when i can afford to buy the electronics that i need to fit. Im all so going to work up a 2 player none Touch screen CP without the keyboard just to show how you can change the system to your own needs of the system. This will be 2 x thinner than the current cp. All so i can show how it only takes 1 min to swap out the control panels.

The possibilities are endless to what i can do to this frame work.. But the question would be "Would you have one of these in your home ?"

I know you posted not to ask however, for now, I can only answer your question with the very same question you asked us not to ask (hopefully I'm making sense here). How much is it? If it costs less than a car, then I am betting a lot would love to have this in their homes. If it does cost more than $5k, then a lot would still want this as long as you find a way to lessen the cost somehow. Incredibly great looking piece of hardware by the way. I'm pretty sure your kids are could not get prouder.

Im Looking at retailing it off in different way's

The system you see all though is a One Off only ..

If iw as was to retail I would be looking at doing it like below

1) Just the Metal frame only (build your own wood bits) To be priced

2) Console versions with NO CP and no arms to Hold CP with just back box - To be priced

3) Arcade / console version - with no touch screen and no roller ball and spinner and no Hardware (to be priced)

4) Arcade / console version with PC and same as no 3 to be priced

5) Full blow system like pictured but no TV or PC or Consoles (to be priced) (UK only)

6) Full System every thing included PC / Touch screen / Xbox 360 / ps3 / wii / TV 32" (to be priced Would not be cheap) (UK Only)

The only problem i have is financing and getting help to get the panels done on a cnc system. The rest i can get done in the factory.

whoa.. nice handy work.. must be rewarding seeing what you've build actually working..
since you mentioned about retailing how much one would actually cost ^_^

I wish i could give a ferm answer on the selling of them at retail price but were still working on what systems we would use on the arcade controls because just throwing in the lights costs over £100. The Joy sticks each are £52 as the one i have built has digital sticks not analogue. A normal sanwa Stick is only £14.00 normal.

The Control panel alone to Build has cost in access of over £800+.

Inside the CP it has

2 x digital joy sticks
1 x sanwa 4/8 way joy stick
All buttons lit
1 x joy stick interface card
1 x Optical interface card
1 x Roller ball
1 x spinner
2 x Nudge sensor's
2 X Led controller bords
1 x Blue tooth dongle
1 x Linksys Duel band Wireless adapter
1 x 7.5 " touch screen system
1 x 13 port USB hub
2 x external to internal USB interfaces
1 x Heavy Duty Side draw set

plus various other high end component's to run it all.

It still has more to go inside once the parts come from china including a Led to music interface card to control 50 Leds that have yet to be mounted. And allso a Sound to light activator card and a remote system to turn each console on and off and the pc as well with out opening the system up.

So you can see im still in the process of finishing off and the back box is still not complete neither lol ...

The total cost to build this system not including wires , connectors and what still has to go in is in access of (get's calculator out) £4000+ (estimated)

By the times its complete you'll be looking at around £5000 spent on building it. (taking into account this is the 3rd redesign of the frame work).....

This photo was taken 1/2 way through working on the cp ->
