i know not all blurays are created equal but it always worth it to go w bluray over the dvd of the same movie?
for example, i purchased v for vendetta on bluray when i could have gotten the dvd for much cheaper (obviously) and when i watched it i wasnt impressed. it looked like some dvds that ive watched.
thanks.

don't forget that not all dvd's are created equal as well. There is only 2 Blu's that I think are indistinguishable from their DVD counterparts and that's due to filming preferences. All the other 423 that I have are definitely worth the upgrade IMO.
as for V... It thrashes it's dvd counterpart.

Next time, make sure the TV is turned on when you're watching.
