I have a Sony DCR-HC52 MiniDV camera, and i need to transfer the video to my pc. it was supposed to come with a disk with Picture Motion Browser software for transferring the video and it did not.

does anyone know where i can get it, i can't find it on their website. or is there another free program out there i can use that works as good or better?

Use WinDV which is free. Google the name.

You need to use Firewire/iLink/IEEE1394
