Poseidon (2006)
Region 2
14 minutes 42 seconds
Chapter 5
Time duration 4 minutes 22 seconds
Six-track Dolby stereo digital

This film happened to play at the Empire Leicester Square screen 1, :p looks like I missed this one.

This rumbled with different ranges of frequency on the LFE.1 as the ole lady started to capsize upside down!

Bass mid over LCR fronts only needed a little sub bass extension with last nights high-pass filters applied to LCR LF.

JBL 4645 got mild workout during this sequence as I wanted the level to be in keeping with the JBL control 5 as part of new test.

The surround channels with centre back really show-off well with this awesome Dolby, mix.

Love is there Love in the air tonight? You’re not having sex with the sub bass are you? :p:D

It’s I liked :) the sub bass in this movie not love. So yes I like the sub bass in this film, not sure what possessed me, to play this tonight?

Moved the sub over to the right again and tested it with the ECM8000 in lower seating position. I was thinking when was the last timed I played Poseidon (2006) oh, two years ago.

Feels different on concrete floor! No rattling/buzzing floorboards to screw down.

From the position of the ECM8000 along with the high-pass filtering I applied to LCR LF to reduce the harshness LCR control 5 is registering down to near 30Hz thou not at high SPL db it’s a kinder comfortable level its range is uniform up to 120Hz on the spectrumlab.

I can see few minor warm spots that can be addressed later on. Adding the LFE.1 track to the LCRS with Eltax A-12R in mute mode it’s almost mirror image on the direct frequency waterfalls I did earlier yesterday evening. Oh, I’m chuffed with the new levels.

The contrast on the CRT monitor is a bit off putting as its smearing some portions of the colour spectrumlab practically a few pink spots.
