I currently have a Paradigm ps-1000. Next week I will be seeing the Klipsch RW12-d in the mail. I am wondering what kinds of difference's I could see.

If you wouldnt mind posting the specs of both more people might chime in and tell you a little bit. I am lazy so i havent looked them up myself. But if it is a true upgrade you will notice the sound quality as well as the over all output will be better. You might even hear some sounds on movies that just werent there before. Tune it properly, and put it in the best position for bass in your room you can to get the best results.

from what i can see spec to spec its just going to be louder but go down the same low frequencies. No to mention you do have more control over the sub with the digital controls on the amp.

wasn't really going for an upgrade. More so a trying to get the same quality w/ a 15" wide sub instead of a 16" wide sub. Unfortunately w/ that one extra inch it wouldn't fit.
