i have just created a little Mac Application called "WDTV Cover Finder".

It tries to find cover artwork from the internet and saves it correctly for the WDTV.

quick question...do i have to embed (hope this is the correct technical term) the artwork file to my MKV file?

Can we get a reset button to remove the files in the list without restarting the app?

I've noticed that with proper file names your program hits the jackpot 90% of the time - how about adding an option to automatically select and save the first image found for each movie. Afterwards it's a snap to scan through the images with Preview and manually re-download only the wrong ones.

To reset the list, just open a new directory or drag new files into the list.

The next update might get the auto-download feature. We´ll see.

Could you provide the option of creating also a thumb called folder.jpg?

Meaning a settabble mark radio button

name of movie jpg set/not set
folder.jpg set/not set

in order to create one, the other, or both

Also there seem to be extra debug messages, maybe not necessary, such as line 2, line 24 etc...

Seems that you need to change the API code, as the search now delivers 0 resuts...

thx. this looks like a very useful app, but it doesn't work for me, it searches forever without returning any results. anyone has similar problem? how do you fix it? thx.
