Dell has the PS3 80GB on sale for $299 for the next 48 hours with free shipping. I'm not exactly sure when the 48 hours started or ends.

This is a pretty good deal. You can also add a second dual shock for $35, and you can get Resistance 2, Killzone 2, and LBP for $40 each. A couple of other options available, as well.

That's a way good deal, weren't these $500 before?

I had one in my cart, along with a little 26" Sony HDTV that was also on sale, and while I was adding an HDMI cable.... the sale ended.

I called to see if they would have pity on me, but they are sold out of 80g PS3s. All that's left are the 160g Drakes Fortune ones for $425.

Thanks for the heads up. I was recently burglarized and needed a replacement unit. This should work nicely.

Of course, they're sold out of both of the things I'd be interested in..the PS3 and the Nokia 5800XM.
