Hello,
My buddy and I spent 5 hours last night testing speaker locations for my rear surrounds followed up by running wire and finally mounting the speakers on the wall using omnimount wall mounts. The test setup of speaker location with the speakers sitting on top of a pair of 6' ladders was excellent. I expected it to sound even better once I had them mounted on the omnimounts (no negative sound problems due to sitting on top of a ladder for example).
Problem is they sound worse than when they were on the ladders! I have no idea why this is. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Any sound experts out there that might know whether using omnimounts is good or bad or otherwise? I'm just sick about the whole thing
Thanks,
Mike
