Hi

I got a Samsung HMX10A and when I play video on my PS3 (either by plugging my SD card on the PS3 or through TVersity) the audio will mute after about 3 seconds of video watching. We still see the video but with no sound...

Other videos (divx..) dont do that...

Any idea ?

Try to have Tversity transcode the file for you. Even though the PS3 will play MP4 nativley, not all audio codecs are compatible. If you are ripping your own MP4 make sure the audio option is set to aac 6 channel discrete. The only drawback to that is you need an HDMI receiver because the audio must be PCM'ed.

If your ripping take a look at this:

What format is the audio?

In any event, tsmuxer will likely help. That thing is like God for streaming media to the ps3.

I tried it... Went in Tversity and told him to transcode "Always" but when I start the video on the PS3, I only have a black screen... There is another media server (PS3mediaserver or something.. it's JAVA powered) and this one will work but video dont look that great ...

wierdo :
Audio is AAC from what I see in the camera specs.

Transcode the audio from AAC to AC3, run it through tsmuxer to produce an m2ts file and it should play fine. It ought to play an MPEG-4 stream with AAC audio, but you never can really tell what the PS3 will choose to play or not play.
