I think i have watched extras from a movie maybe 4 times... Lost in Translation, The Shining , Jaws and the original Matrix come to mind. Other then that I have basically find them useless and boring.

Today it hit me though (as Im sure man others) a GREAT extra which I would feel i got my money's worth on for BD would be the entire soundtrack including score for the said move in DTS MA or DTHD.

How cool would that be?

Anything else someone would like to see as worth while extra?

You should have said "...in DTS-MA or TrueHD..." and not lossy DTS-HD. This would be fantastic but could the score conform to profile 3.0 without effecting the movie? I don't want to fire up my projector to navigate for music.

Also there is the issue of copyrights. Many times (probably most of the time) the music and/or score is only licensed to be used in the complete ST (dialogue and sound effects).

I really like the idea of getting a movie's music soundtrack with the BD.

On a slightly different note, one thing I enjoy about Fox's releases is that they include isolated score tracks much more often than the other studios.

That's not a bad idea actually. I love listening to movie scores. Star wars, jaws and lotr personally for me are the best. I can listening to a particular an identify which scene it belongs to.

That's what he said. Another worthwhile extras I've seen are other versions of film included (ie Day the Earth Stood Still, Dirty Dozen, Benhur on DVD).

Alternate version are a very good feature, no question about it.

true, and perhaps I am in the minority, but I often turn down movies (especially lately) that are much higher because of things I dont want. i.e. DVD version, digital copy, BD live bla bla bla.

Give me a BD with alternate movie version and a complete lossless soundtrack and I will pay more on release rather then wait to find it in a bin for $10.
