Hi all.
I currently have the WDTVHD media player and am getting really frustrated by the lack of Zoom functionality. This is because I'm getting a slight zoom-in (overscan) on my 42" Sharp Aquos on all media type. This basically cuts out parts of the sides of the film. The WDTVHD only has 50%, 200% etc. zooming, and no progressive zooming.
I'm considering changing my unit to an NMT just because of this.
Are there any NMTs that have progressive zooming like with PC media players, where I can zoom out 1% at a time or what not?

P.S. I don't care about DTS downmixing since this is running through my reciever.

overscan is your TV's fault, not WD TVs...do you happen to have 1:1 pixel mapping option on your TV from 1080p input?...you could then set WD TV to 1080p and the 1:1 pixelmap would eliminate overscan?

Well.. my tv is only HD-Ready so it's 1366x768.
When using HDMI input I don't have any options or settings on my TV. I've searched everywhere

My PCH is component cable connected to my 5-year old HDTV, and the PCH has a 1% zoom adjustment in this mode. It should be the same using an HDMI connection.

So if the PCH has it, then I take it the HDX-1000 will also have it.
I guess I'll be going in that direction then.
Thanks!
