Hi,

I, like many people, have been debating between the Harmony One (better button layout IMO and screen) vs. the 890 (RF!).

Well, I was in Sear's the other day and they had a closeout on the 890, which got me wondering if there was a new model coming out soon. I did a quick search this morning and found a few stores listing the 890 as dicontinued (including Crutchfield). This makes me think that a new refresh is immenant from Harmony (Logitech). We know about the PS3 adapter that is coming, and it has been ages since they refreshed their standard remotes. Maybe we'll finally get a Harmony One with RF!

Anybody else have info on Logitech discontinuing the 890? is this old news?

Probably true. I found this post talking about new remotes this year.

My 880 just busted and was looking to upgrade/replace it with a newer model. I would definitely be interested in hearing if a new model is to be released sometime soon before purchasing one now.
