I connected HDMI cable from my cable box to the Extender (Sender box), connected CAT 6 cable from the Sender box to the Receiver box, and then HDMI cable from the Receiver box to my HDTV. I had picture, but no sound. Changed out the CAT 6 cable, no difference, Changed out the HDMI cable, no difference. Tried CAT 5 cable, no difference. Switched the Receiver and Sender box, no picture or sound. I only had both picture and sound when I plugged the HDTV directing to the cable box using the HDMI cable. Tried both HDMI cables to make sure neither one was bad. The Receiver box is plugged into a 120V outlet as specified. Could the Extender boxes be faulty or is their something else I should try?

The source is a PACE 787X (Aspen) cable box going to a Samsung 540 series HDTV.

Is this an HDCP content issue?
