Anyone have an opinion on these? I have a large room (18x18 with 8 foot ceiling) with 90% use being for home theatre. Denon AVR-789 receiver and Omage speakers.

The Klipsch is on sale a Futureshop today only but is still more expensive than what the PA-120 costs on eBay.

The Klipsch certainly looks like quality construction. I listened to it in store today and although the sound was definitely very clean, I was underwhelmed by the "impact factor" shall we say. For 260 watts RMS it did not sound very loud.

Opinions appreciated.

Your opinion about the Klipsch is right on, I heard it in a smaller room and I didn't find it to be all it could be with a 260watt amp. It sounded small and concealed. It may be on sale but unless you need a sub for the bathroom or attic, save for something better.

check out the reviews in the PA-120 thread....

I just got mine last week and im completely satisfied with it.. and my area is very large,,, 13 x 25 x 24 (vaulted ceiling)

but take into consideration,, whenever u demo a sub at a store... they might have the place treated and not as much furniture in the room...
