I'm wondering if I can put a goldentee in the back of my theater. The room will have 4 18"subs and I do not want the game to vibrate or rattle.

Any help?

Well, I really think really that depends on a number of complicated variables that are unique to your particular set up and room. In particular, maybe you clarify this one minor point for me: what is a GoldenTee?

Sorry, It is the golf game that is in bars/taverns. Like an arcade game.

Ah! Right! Got it now! My golf handicap is so high playing in a bar would be a great improvement for me.

I definitely know what a bar/tavern is, because that's where I went to college. But .... what's an arcade game?

J/K. I'll slink out the back door now and let someone else who might be able to answer your question step forward and speak up!

What's the excitement all about? it's just another game in the same old package.

I would go for a MAME machine and have all the other games at your fingertips rather than locking into one game.

For what it is worth there are plenty of pimped out MAME machines that include there own sub-woofers so I'm not anticipating any problem sticking it in the back of your theater.

Been looking around, what exactly is a mame machine and are they hard to build?

Golden Tee has probably taken more of my money than I could count

Love that game

MAME machine is a computer in an arcade cabinet. Most of them use an arcade monitor, TV, or a CRT computer monitor. The computer emulates the hardware of the old games in software.

Here's a link to mine: (old video) now running about 15,000 games.

YE GODS!! What are the dimensions of your Theater space? FOUR 18in. subs. Just IMO - you must have an auditorium sized area or you are maybe like those people who drive down the road with way, way too much "thump" for what is necessary for good fidelity.

My experience is your wall studs will vibrate before the free standing Golden Tee.
Good Luck and Good Luck to your neighbors!!
