Hey all,

I'm gonna be buying a harmony one on Friday and got a couple setup questions. First off do I need the actual remotes for the devices controlled, or just need to load it from online? I'm also wondering what the proper sequance would be for powering up and shutting down. How far off is the adabter for controlling a ps3 (the actual harmony one), and any ideas on price? Here is a list of what's going to be controlled....

Panasonic 50pz77u
Starchoice 505hd sat reciever
Yamaha rxv 863
Energy cf 50 mains bi-amped
Energy cc 10 center
Energy cr 10 surrounds di-pole
Paradigm dsp 3400 sub
Ps3
Harmony one

Thanks

By the looks of it, you should be okay with those devices. Looks like even your StarChoice receiver is supported. Though you may (it was true in my case) have to have the remote for the Sat Receiver so the Harmony can "learn" some of the basic commands. You could be lucky and not have to, though. The Panny and the Yamaha, I'm sure will be recognized without needing the original remote... Remember, you can go ahead and check all your devices for compatibility here: http://myremotesetup.com/EasyZapper/New/Main.asp?WebProcessAction=Start&ReturnUrl=/EasyZapper/./New/ProcSpice/landing.asp&ClassId=PrSpice.ProcSpice&RelativePath=ProcSpice/

Hey thx for the reply. I haven't had a chance to check the database because my comps been down for a few weeks, and I've been stuck using my phone. Good thing is the comp is back tonight, and new remote tomorrow :).
