I heard the DT 7002 at the local Best Buy a couple times and really enjoyed the sound of the music better then anything else there with the type of music I listen too. The vocals and the rest of the music sounded very lively and surrounding. I thought the stereo bass was actually nice as well so I can hopefully ditch the sub to save space.

How does the 7001 and 7000 mid range and highs compair to the the 7002? It appears that the jump from the 7002 to the 7001 and 7002 utilizes different mid range drivers. Curious if it sound similiar, etc.

I tried to check out a couple other retailers but apprently a lot of them are closed on Monday and Tuesday, not to mention shorter hours during the week days...I'm not even sure if they have the 7000 or 7001 but worth looking into again tomorrow.

I'll also be listening to a set of B&W CM9's with in the next week but after listening to the CM4's I'm still partial towards one of the DT BP 7000's series.
