I currently have a tiny antenna that came with my TV tuner card. I get several channels and some very good even though I am ~20 miles from the stations. I am unable to get a good signal from two of the networks I would like to watch however. My question is, if I get a higher gain directional antenna, will I be forced to pick a clump of channels and only get those? Most of my channels seem to come from two concentrated areas about 45 degrees apart on the compass. Antennaweb says I need a high to medium gain directional antenna. Since I am able to get most of the stations with a 6inch stub do you think I can get by with an omnidirectional model? I do not want to spend a ton of money on an antenna.

How is this antenna (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=109&cp_id=10901&cs_id=1090102&p_id=4730&seq=1&format=3#specification) at monoprice?

My zip code is 29708.

The biggest advantage will be mounting the antenna outdoors. It'll get more stations than your 6" whip, but I'd be surprised if you get everything.
