Very nice work, love the Blu-ray, movie, divx ones. Been looking for something like these.

Dang i thought some one said in another post they were 200X300 size so i made all mine that size.

When i click the folder in the "videos" section on my WDtv i get a folder called "USB1" or somthing like that.

Can we change that into a thumbnail? i want to use your "DVD movies" icon for that. :D

I also saved your Dirty hairy collection one, i like the BTTF one but its in another language i think.

These look really great. I've been looking for thumbnails for the BBC Planet Earth series, specifically for each individual episode. I have gotten a few but I can't seem to find a good set of them. Everything I find is mostly DVD covers for the volume sets rather than individual episode covers. I would love to see what others are using as thumbnails for their Planet Earth episodes.

I have a set of those but mine look different. It is the same BBC planet earth series but mine only has 5 disks and a few look different then yours.

I think mine maybe broke down into 3 groups on one disk maybe?

I have a folder called Movies, with the movies inside a folder for each one. The images of the movies appears correctly, but the image for my folder movies don't.

Maybe I must have a video file inside of the movies folder? Because I don't have anyone, only the folders of the movies.

just go to netflix and use their thumbnails.. 100% perfect size already :)

Size is not 100% perfect.
I checked some and they're about 110x150.
WDTV thumbnail size should be 120x180

You grab a ton of stuff there, and just resize/crop to your liking

The only way to get them to show without the additional folder is to use a usb hub.

Then if you have more than one drive on input 2 for example then the individual icons show up.

Someone had posted thumbs of genres (action, adventures etc) in one of the threads - maybe the main thread with 7500 posts!! Anyone have more of these or guide me to where I can find genre thumbs?

I use the FRESH folder as a kind of staging area for new content that I want to queue up but not necessarily watch immediately. None of the photos or artwork are my own of course; snagged from various posters, searches etc. I even stole the idea for CLASSICS from a thumbnail I had seen earlier somewhere. Rowdy, I absolutely love these icons. What font did you use for the category headings? I'm looking to do mine in more of a goofy vein, and nothing beats Dawson for high drama.

I also posted a blank DVD Video one in case you want to make your own.

The original creator used the Myriad Pro font I believe with about a -25 space setting. It's Italic and to get the feel of the original I used the Layer Style setting and chose Bevel and Emboss with an Outer Bevel setting. A big thanks to the creator for these cools pics!

Photoshop is definitely nice for these things... let me know if you need anything else. I also created another new icon for "Comedy"

I would read this thread if you want to start adding pics to folders and movies. Once I started doing it I couldn't go back and it's very easy to do.
