What is the best ceiling mount for the FPJ1? I need to get one this week. I've heard of people using Chief and Peerless. I went to a home theater store yesturday and they only had a Sanus mount.

So what mount would be the best to go with?

Also where can I get the best deal for the ceiling mount. Any AVS specials? :D

Chief RPAU is universal mount and will work with most future PJ upgrades. Best price AVS/projectorpeople, would be my 1st choices.

+1 on the chief. I only buy from AVS so I would HIGHLY recommend buying from them. Great prices and great customer service.

If you have limited height on your ceiling you are going to want a low profile mount. Like the other said the Chief RPAU will do. I'm new to this game and almost bought a peerless and my projector would have been hanging down about 5" further than I would have cared for it to do.

Chief RPAU is what Im going to get. I have no room for it to hang down.I need low profile mount so the chief will be great.

I was just wanted to strongest mount for the FPJ1. I dont want it falling down on my head and I've heard some mounts aren't to strong.

Chief is well known to be the best...though a tad more than Peerless. It is also the most flush (only about 2" or so drop), so for those who want it close to the ceiling that is key. It is plenty strong enough for the RS2, and even if you add an anamorphic lens/mount to it.
