Is there any model of any brand camcorder that will record directly to a standard dvd (4.2 gig) in slp mode (6 hours or more)? I only need moderate res (vhs is actually good enough) but I need a zoom microphone input and I need to be recording directly to the standard DVD (built in to the camcorder) that I can finalize (from the camcorder itself) after the event is over (shouldn't take more than a few minutes) and then I need to be able to physically remove the DVD, put it in a PC, and use nero to make as many copies as I have orders for. The only camcorders I have seen advertised so far use "mini" dvd discs, NOT standard sized 4.2 gig disks. Has anyone made a standard 4.2 gig DVD camcorder yet?
